On April 13th, 2019 the home of our friends Steve Casper and Karen Strauss caught fire. Thankfully they, along with their sons, and their pets, were able to make it safely out of the devastation. But they lost the home they've lived in for more than 20 years, and all the memories and personal belongings within.  



Every one of us has experienced Karen and Steve's boundless compassion and generous spirits. Usually, they are the ones giving to others, be it their time, a much needed gift, or a supportive hug when we're at our lowest. 



Now it's our turn to give back. 



What they need most right now is financial support for immediate expenses and a few specific items below. They don't have space to store "stuff", but they need to eat and take care of basic needs until things are more stable.



Needs: 

* LAPTOP: Steve lost his laptop (and wallet) in the fire. Please respond here if you have one he can borrow or keep. It will be greatly appreciated!! (UPDATE: this has been donated, and we no longer need this. Thank you!)
