On Tuesday, April 9th, Mary Todd and her husband, Ben Macintire, welcomed their second son, Augustus “Gus” Franklin Macintire, with loving arms. Due to unexpected complications in utero, Gus was placed on life support and transported to Children’s National Hospital in Washington, D.C. with his dad. Mary joined them on the 10th after being discharged from AAMC. After multiple tests, observations, and incredible care from the staff in the NICU at Children’s, Mary and Ben made the decision to let Gus go and removed life support on Friday, August 12th. This fund is intended to assist with any uncovered medical expenses, funeral arrangements, and general living expenses to ease Mary (Meghan), Ben, Henry, and Lanie (Gamgam) through the months ahead. The family is so grateful for the love and support of their friends and are asking for privacy at this time.
