Alan Schneider
Alan was admitted to Harborview Medical Center on March 12th to remove a brain tumor and developed a life-threatening complication of bacterial meningitis. So many of our friends and family have been so extremely helpful in the past month and a half as Alan has been doing the hard work of fighting off his post-surgical bacterial meningitis and hydrocephalus. Thank you!!
I also keep on getting requests from friends and family who are not able to help in the immediate physical ways to let them know how they can help. Well, the medical bills have started to roll in. While not devastating, they are an opportunity for those we love to help in a very practical way. Alan has been in the hospital for 35 days as of today, April 15th. He is not expected to be home until sometime in May after his antibiotics have been completed, he has had another surgery to replace the bone flap on his skull, and he has had a chance to start on physical, speech, and occupational therapy.
My hope is that by setting up a personal fundraiser for Alan we can help defray the cost of his stay at Harborview Medical Center. Thank you to everyone who has helped us so far, and thank you to everyone who chooses to help by participating in this fundraiser for Alan. We are truly blessed to have such a supportive and loving community!
