Cameron's Bone Marrow Transplant
Donation protected
1Cameron Lee Modesitt is a two year old boy who has a blood disease called Beta-Thalassemia Major or "Cooley's Anemia". Cameron has been receiving monthly blood transfusions since the age of 8 weeks. We were living with this and accepting all of the health problems that came along with the disease. Recently, his doctor sat us down and explained that Cameron had very hard blood to cross-match. In other words, it was becoming harder and harder to find blood that would be safe for him to use. Eventually, Cameron will become "untransfusable" and his little life will be cut way too short. The only cure for this disease is a Bone Marrow Transplant. At this time, we are reaching out to our friends, family and anyone who wants to play a part in saving this precious little boys life. Bone Marrow Transplants can go into the hundreds of thousands of dollars. Our insurance will not pay for all of this and his mommy will have to let go of her job once the transplant starts. Any donation will help Cameron, no matter the amount. We truly thank you all, from every inch of our hearts. Cameron is meant for great things and he will beat this!
