1KM for Every €10: Running for Justice in Gaza
Donation protected
Hi, I’m Aga — you might know me from @aga_is_busy, where I share bits of my life, movement, and moments that matter.
I’m a long-distance runner from Poland, living in the Netherlands. Running is my way of staying grounded, expressing myself, and connecting with others—and now, I want to use it as a way to help.
Like many of you, I’ve been deeply heartbroken by what’s happening in Gaza. The suffering is immense. The silence around it is painful. And I don’t want to look away or stay quiet.
So in the lead-up to the Berlin Marathon on September 21, I’m using my training and race to raise funds for those affected.
For every €10 donated, I will run 1 kilometer as part of my marathon journey.
All donations will go directly to the World Food Programme’s Palestine Emergency Appeal (wfp.org). WFP is providing urgent food aid to families in Gaza—children, mothers, and communities who are struggling just to survive.
I chose WFP because they are trusted, transparent, and active on the ground. I don’t have a personal connection to the organization—but I believe in their mission and I know this is one way I can contribute.
This fundraiser is not just about raising money.
It’s about standing up.
It’s about refusing to be silent in the face of genocide.
It’s about turning movement into meaning.
