"Build my future, change my world"

I am Martha Fernandez-Grijalva and I am 17 years old. I go to high school at Ramon C. Cortines School of Visual and Performing Arts in Los Angeles California. I have been invited to the Presidential Inaugural Leadership Summit. 

My parents believe that I can achieve the true American dream as long as I work hard for it. It is due to their constant effort and support, despite their financial constraints, that I have been able to achieve this once in a lifetime opportunity to have been invited to go to Washington D.C., see the President being sworn into office and to attend workshops that will involve leadership building skills.

Please help me raise my program tuition fee and air fare so that I can represent my school, young artists, and the Latino community in such an honorable event. Thankfully, I got an extension and will need to be able to raise funds by January 4, 2013 in order to make this dream come true.
