A few weeks ago, our colleague Darren was involved in a very serious car accident. Some of you may have noticed his absence from the office and perhaps assumed he was on holiday, but unfortunately the situation is far more serious.

Since the accident, Darren has been in the ICU. We visited him at St Mary’s Hospital last week, where he had been in a coma. Encouragingly, the latest update is that Darren has begun to open his eyes and is starting to respond to interactions. While this is a positive sign, his condition remains serious, and he still faces a long and uncertain road to recovery.

Darren is known for his kindness, his supportive nature, and his willingness to never say no to anyone in need. Now, he and his family need our help and support more than ever.

Darren has two young children, and this sudden accident has been incredibly difficult for his family. As his colleagues and friends, we would like to come together to support them during this challenging time. We hope to present this donation to his family as a gesture of care and solidarity from all of us.
