My Story
Hello everyone, my name is Ezra Stevens, and I was born and raised in Jamaica. Though I now live in the United States, Boston Massachusetts, my heart has never left the island that shaped me its people, its culture, and its incredible spirit of resilience.
In the aftermath of Hurricane Melissa, I’ve witnessed heartbreaking images and heard stories from family, friends, and community members who have lost nearly everything. Homes have been destroyed, crops wiped out, and access to clean water and food has become a daily struggle. I will make various trips to Jamaica myself to ensure funds are use correctly. I love Jamaica.
Jamaica is strong but right now, she needs us.
Why I Started This GoFundMe
I created this fundraiser to bring together people from all over the world who love Jamaica whether by birth, by roots, or by heart to help rebuild and restore hope after this devastating storm.
Funds raised will go toward:
1. Clean Water: Supplying safe drinking water to families in need.
2. Food Assistance: Providing meals and groceries to communities hit hardest.
3. Shelter: Helping rebuild homes and provide temporary housing materials.
4. Reconstruction: Supporting local workers and purchasing building supplies to restore vital community infrastructure.
Every donation, no matter the size, will make a difference. All funds will be directed to trusted local organizations, churches, and community leaders actively working on the ground in Jamaica.

A Message from My Heart
Jamaica has given the world so much our music, our culture, our joy. Now it’s our turn to give back. Together, we can help our brothers and sisters rebuild, rise, and thrive again.
Thank you for your love, your generosity, and your faith in a better tomorrow.
Peace, love, and blessings,
Ezra Stevens
