Hello I am Jesse Knowlin a professionally published photographer from Washington, DC. I found my interest in photography while studying at Duke Ellington School of the Arts. I later advanced my studies and passion for visual art at Ringling College of Art and Design. Where I graduated in 2007. Since that time I have been living life and creating as much as I can. This latest project has been a big one. I am trying to produce my first photography book. As an artist it has been my passion since I was a child to create things that make others smile. This book is a collection of some of my work throughout my years of shooting. This book is comprised of a variety photos of young black male figures in a positive view. As a young black professional photographer this work is a true representation of my passion for my community and culture. To help in this effort I am reaching out in hopes that people are interested and seeing this project come to pass.
