My dog Benji needs a life saving plasma/blood transfusion and surgery. My name is Mahir (Mike) Unutkan. My fiancé Isabella Grubbe and I have been scrounging for every penny we can muster up and have spent approximately $4000 in emergency vet care thus far for our 1 and a half year old puppy. Our credit cards are maxed out and our bank accounts drained dry. Benji is diagnosed with SEVERE (HGE) hemorrhagic gastroenteritis which basically means his stomach and intestines are bleeding. He can't hold down any food or water. His IV and antibiotics are the only thing that's kept him alive this long. The blood tests have shown Benji's albumin protein levels are critical and he requires a plasma/blood transfusion (**update** he now also requires surgery to remove a foreign object from his intestines that wasn't previously found until they did an Ultrasound**). This procedure is quoted to cost $9000 dollars including his hospitalization care post procedure. He is as tough as nails but he's struggling and his health is declining. Anything helps. Please we accept prayers too but we need the money to pay for his emergency transfusion and surgery.
