Hello!
My name is Billie Hindle, and I am the Director of a small independent theatre company in North West England named Octavius Theatre Company.
Production is now underway for our second ever show! Our very own adaptation of 1984 by George Orwell! After our hit show, Henry's End, was met with critical success on a shoestring budget, we are now aiming for bigger and better! But it's very difficult to acquire funding. That's where you could come in!

Octavius' 1984 aims to create a modernised, innovative and corporate spin on the great novel by Orwell. It will be unlike any version you've seen before. Coming in 2026! But what would we use these additional funds for?
Donating would help us:
- Source costumes.
- Pay for more time in the rehearsal studio.
- Find a larger venue with more tech options.
- Design more intricate sets.
- Market the show.
- Pay our actors more!
With our small budget, every penny makes a major difference! The show will get made either way, but we would be so thankful for your help in realising our creative vision. We have set a goal of £1000, but any and all funds will be used to the fullest extent for the show.
