We are a group of Matt's friends who are keen to create a special place to remember him in London.

We plan to fund a memorial bench in a park in Islington - a place where Matt lived for a considerable period during the time he was in London.

The bench will carry the follow inscription:

Matt Hopkins 1982 - 2024 Unforgettably Playful, Youthful, Admired, Brilliant, Uplifting, Magnetic, Naughty, Optimistic, Bold, Adventurous, Bright, Irreplaceable, Everybody's Sunshine

We need to raise £1,069 and any amount in excess of this will be donated to charity in Matt's name.
