Hi, we are Trudy and Larry from Arcadia, DeSoto County, Florida. Our family’s farmhouse, circa 1903, was decimated by Hurricane Ian. Even though we are in year two of a restoration project we could not yet get it insured. The hurricane severely damaged the roof, the ceilings and floors are collapsing from the water that poured in and the electrical and HVAC systems are torn apart by the wind. The funds would be used to rebuild the Hamilton House’s collapsed/destroyed roof, ceilings, buckled floors, electrical panels and wiring, and HVAC. Six generations of Hamiltons have enjoyed this humble jewel. Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
