Hello, my name is Aiya and in May of 2022, I was surprised by a diagnosis of brain tumors (3 total) and a testicular tumor. Biopsies showed these tumors were cancerous as well, so my journey through countless surgeries (15 total), chemotherapy and now radiation therapy began and is still going on today. During this ordeal, I came close to losing my life 3 times, had to be airlifted once and in ambulances (6 times), and even lost my vision temporarily due to a brain seizure. I also have countless transportation for therapy and clinics. As a Full-Time Film student, I cannot pay for all of my expenses. I could use your help. I am also working on a documentary to help others understand my rare illness, to raise awareness and hopefully, help others navigate these tumultuous waters should they ever be faced with this life-changing illness.
