I am a 14 year old male gymnast.

I train 21 hours a week in my local gymnastics club where I have been a member for 11 years.

I also now coach the younger gymnasts twice a week and bimonthly I train with the Welsh Tumbling Squad, which takes me to Carmarthen, Birmingham and Milton Keynes.

I am so excited to announce that I have been selected to represent Wales in tumbling at the 18th edition Loulé Cup in Portugal in October!

I compete in many competitions throughout the year, I am currently the British Under 14 School Tumbling Champion for the fourth year running and have just won bronze at the IRCC British Championships.

This will be my first time competing internationally and at the highest level.

The trip is for 5 days. I will travel with a team of 30 Welsh gymnasts competing in two disciplines, 5 coaches, 2 judges and a chaperone.

Only 6 boys of various ages will represent Wales of which I am the youngest.

I have two days training at Loulé Municipal Sport Centre Professor Joaquim Vairinhos, one day of qualifications and if that goes well then the finals!

Unfortunately my whole trip is self funded.

I have therefore already started to host fundraisers in my gym club and at my village fete and am now trying to reach out to the wider community for support and donations; however small to help fund my dream of competing for my country internationally.
