Skye’s fundraiser

In the 22nd of September my whole world fell apart when the doctor turned around and told us they our baby was going to die I was rushed into hospital to be induced and on the 23rd September 2023 Our beautiful daughter Skye was born with only one kidney and a low immune system. When Skye was born at 35 weeks she was born with severe jaundice we was rushed to the neonatal ward. We was told that if the treatment didn’t start to work quickly she was a risk for having to transferred to a different hospital where a doctor would have to take all her blood out and put fresh blood back in. Luckily our little girl is a fighter and 1 week later we got discharged. We was advised not to put her into a nursery incase of infection so I had to leave my job to become a stay at home mum but the savings have gone. With doctors appointments in Manchester travelling back and forth there. It’s such a worrying time. Thank you to everyone who takes the time to read this.
