In Loving Memory of Eugene "Junior" Nelson

Eugene’s Celebration of Life will be held at Skyline Church in Spring Valley on Saturday, March 18th. Doors open at 9:30am, and the service will begin at 10am. THANK YOU to everyone who contributed and made this possible. The support has been so incredible to see, and we are forever grateful for everyone’s prayers, heartfelt messages, donations and overall support for Eugene’s family.

Our hearts break with the family and friends of Eugene Nelson Jr. On Saturday morning, he was involved in a serious car accident going westbound on I-8 heading to work. In the accident, he suffered a fatal brain injury. He was rushed to Sharp Memorial and after being in the hospital for a little over two days, he was pronounced dead the night of February 27th surrounded by family and friends.

Junior was a beloved son, brother, uncle, friend and most importantly a Child of God. He was such a light to everyone around him and never failed to be the life of the party. He was dedicated in everything he put his mind to and was known for his infectious laugh. Junior got along with everyone and found friends wherever he went. He was loved by so many and will be missed terribly by all who knew him.

All donations are tremendously appreciated and will be used to alleviate the financial obligations of funeral costs, medical bills, and any other bereavement expenses his family sees fit. Every penny will be deposited into a bank account, split into two even checks, and given to his parents - Brandi and Eugene Sr.

This fundraiser is being hosted and organized by Matteo Allieri and Carlie Powell, two of Gene's closest friends.
