Why This Matters to Me

Autism is deeply meaningful to me both professionally and personally.

My daughter is on the Autism Spectrum and is now 18 years old. She is currently doing very well in her post–high school adult transition program, where she continues developing independence, confidence, and life skills as she prepares for adulthood.

Watching her growth and resilience has been one of the most inspiring experiences of my life.

Because of this journey, supporting the Autism community and raising awareness for individuals and families navigating similar paths is something I care deeply about.

The Challenge

Throughout the month of March I will be running 400 miles or more on roads, trails, and wherever the miles take me.

The goal is to combine something I enjoy—movement, endurance, and time outdoors—with something that truly matters: raising awareness and support for the Autism community.

Mileage updates will be posted throughout the month as the challenge continues.

Current Progress (March 11)

How You Can Support

There are a couple ways to participate in this challenge.

Sponsor a Mile

Support the challenge by sponsoring part of the journey with a donation of any amount.

Pledge Per Mile

Supporters can pledge $1 per mile completed.

If the goal of 400 miles is reached, that would equal a $400 pledge, though supporters are welcome to pledge any amount that feels comfortable.

Even small donations help move the challenge forward.

Many supporters also choose to sponsor a meaningful portion of the journey with $50 or $100 contributions.

Fundraising Goal

The goal of this fundraiser is to raise $3,000 through this 400+ mile challenge.

Every donation helps bring the fundraiser closer to that goal and supports awareness and advocacy for the Autism community.

Impact & Transparency

Funds raised through this challenge will be collected by me and donated in early April in honor of Autism Awareness Month.

During the month of March I will be identifying and selecting a local nonprofit organization that supports individuals and families in the Autism community.

To maintain transparency, once the funds have been donated I will post an update confirming:

the organization that received the donation

confirmation that the full amount raised has been donated

Thank You

Thank you for supporting this challenge and helping raise awareness for individuals and families in the Autism community.

Even if you are unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser helps spread awareness and is greatly appreciated.
