17 Year Old Gaven has Cancer

Dear Friends, Family, and Surrounding Communities, Today I am beseeching you for your generosity and kind donations on behalf of our Daughter, Sister, and Friend, Katie Daniels and her husband Jared. This week they received devastating news that has rocked their family to the core. Katie’s 17 year old son Gaven was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma (Bone Cancer). It is fast growing and very aggressive. Understandably this family’s world has been turned upside down. This coming week Gaven will be getting admitted to a Cincinnati Children’s Hospital to undergo an aggressive chemo to combat this malignant cancer. We do recognize that this request although important, could not come at a worse time due to COVID-19. We are acutely sensitive to the fact that there are other families unable to work and going through troubling times of their own. We recognize all communities are suffering in many capacities all over our nation, but Gaven’s situation is truly life and death. Given Gaven’s pressing needs both Jared and Katie will be spending the bulk of their time in Cincinnati at his side, which means leaving behind a portion of their job security in an already troubling time. We are asking for any assistance you are able to provide to help them cover the massive medical bills, living expenses and miscellaneous expenses they will have for their other children's care while they go through this difficult situation. Every heartfelt donation, whatever the size will be a great help and blessing to them. Katie has been made the sole beneficiary of these funds, and everything donated will go straight to Katie and family! We are also asking for you to please pray for Gaven and his family that they may get through what will be a terrible ordeal during chemo treatments and complete recovery.
