My best friends and I have decided to do a 17 mile walk for Ashgate hospice. With the recent news that Ashgate is having to reduce the number of crucial inpatient beds and staff, is absolutely heartbreaking.

Ashgate made an incredible difference to my Dad’s final months, providing so much compassion and kindness. I will be forever grateful for the support they gave my family in such a difficult time. I know Ashgate has given so many other families this care and comfort which is why we need to support this beautiful place.

More information about ASHGATE HOSPICECARE: Ashgate Hospice is an independent charity that cares for patients with a life-limiting illness and their families across North Derbyshire. We provide compassionate palliative and end-of-life care free of charge to people aged 18 and over. While our purpose is to provide end-of-life care, our work doesn’t only begin at the very end of someone’s life – we strive to improve quality of life soon after a terminal diagnosis.
