Last year the UC Lookouts Baseball Team earned a spot at the AABC Mickey Mantle 16u in Mc Kinney, Texas.  Our team was made up of local baseball players who most of them have played together and have been friends since grade school.   With some players that have never flew in an airplane, we were able to travel thanks to our family, friends, and the communities support.   Our Team not only experienced a chance of lifetime event, but the end, we earned top four at the World Series and best of the Western Region.  We represented not just Union City, Northern California, California, but the country with teams from Puerto Rico and Canada, and was also awarded the AABC Mickey Mantle Sportsmanship Award.

The UC Lookouts Baseball Team has another chance of this whirlwind opportunity by earning yet another spot in the coveted AABC Mickey Mantle World Series on July 29 - Aug 2.   We are excited and humbled for another chance to participate in one of the most well known baseball tournaments for our age group; however, this year we only have half the time to raise funds for this trip compared to before.
