200 MILES TO FIGHT CANCER!!!

The American Cancer Society has started a fundraiser/movement for July, where they ask participants to walk 62 miles and raise funds to help fight for a world without cancer. This is a very meaningful cause for me as both of my parents had cancer and ultimately fought hard but succummbed to the dreadful disease.

While 62 miles is a great goal, those who know me, know that the bare minimum just won't do at all, so I've decided to place a 1 in front of that number and go for 162 miles in July! ***Updated to 200 Miles***

That means that I'll be running over 6.5 miles a day in this Florida heat!!! And while they suggest a fundraising goal of $250, I'll gladly put a 0 behind that and challenge my friends/family and whomever else to help reach an initial goal of $2,500 in the first week and $10,000 by the end of July - don't let me down! ****Updated to a goal of $12,500****

Check back often, as I'll be providing updates on mileage and donations received, 100% of proceeds go directly to ACS!!!
