Michael, has worn "108" Caloundra High School Jersey and sprinted 400-meter hurdles at All Schools Athletics Championships representing the school.

His race time identified he is competing at international standard. He has been selected to compete at Canada representing Australia.

Michael belongs to the Caloundra High School - High Performing Athlete program.

Michael is a part of the Sunshine Coast University Youth Academy and is being monitored by the YouFor2032 talent program for Brisbane Olympics.

Michael is the Club Captain and competes with Caloundra Little Athletics. 108 is his registration and lucky number!

It has been acknowledged that Michael’s strengths are his compassion and sportsmanship. His family are fulltime carers for a child with a disability.

Michael has successfully received a Young Carer Bursary for the support he gives her and his Nana, working as an unqualified support worker scheduling her health appointments. This bursary will be put towards the trip in part.

Donations will be used to assist with competition fees, flights, accommodation, travel insurance & meals - he can cook basic meals to help reduce costs.

Monies are deposited directly to a trust account requiring both parent signatures to access.
