On the night of the 4th of July, Chauncey Wilson who is 16 years old was lighting an artillery shell when it instantly went off not giving him any time to run away. The firework went off and shot straight into his face hitting his eye. He then started walking back to everyone with his hand over his eye, screamed for his mom and then collapsed. They called 911, and they decided he needed to be care flighted to Plano Medical Center where they did a cat scan. Unfortunately they told us that it looked as if nothing was left of his eye. He is awake now and speaking to everyone and is having a hard time believing that his eye could be gone and was asking if we could buy him a new eye. We are asking for any of your help on the additional cost for any medical purposes including eye reconstructive surgery in the near future. Chauncey is a very happy kid who is always joking and making every one laugh.
Thank you for any and all donations it will be very very appreciated and we couldn’t be more thankful for all the support and encouraging words you all have given him.
