We’re swimming 16 Hours For Teenage Cancer Trust

This July we will each be swimming for 16 hours straight (courtesy of London Aquatic Centre and Harry for organising the event). This will be our biggest challenge so far, pushing our bodies to their limits. Those who swim will understand the difficulty of this task but for those who don’t, it is estimated to be the equivalent of running 128-154 kilometres.

Those participating in the challenge are: Harry Edwards, Jamie Hartnup, Kathryn Edwards, Sophie Ball, Thomas Underdown, Albert Orley.

Harry - “This challenge is my hardest yet. Previously I have completed 1.5k and 5k swims, raising over £750 alone. Therefore, this 16 hour swim aiming for over 30km is over 5 times more difficult !!”

Most people in their lifetime experience the harsh effects of cancer, whether that be personal or through a family or friend. With Teenage Cancer Trust, children are given the vital support they need during a challenging time.

Teenage Cancer Trust - We create world class cancer services for young people in the UK, providing life-changing care and support so young people don't have to face cancer alone.
