15-1 Palkons Compete at Nationals 2023
Donation protected
This group of young ladies recently took 1st place at Farwesterns Reno 2023! After three days of playing, 10 matches total, they remained undefeated throughout the event, losing only one set the entire tournament.
They played against formidable opponents such as the MadFrogs, 360 Vball Club, Red Rock Tri-Valley just to name a few. Of course, with the guidance and support of their fearless leaders head coach Apollo Madayag and assistant coach Sam Felix.
The young ladies played as a team, with heart, and focused on winning, one match at a time.
During the Championship match, our Middle, Charm Forrester, sustained a level 2 sprain to her ankle. She immediately put a brace on, rubbed the tears away and went on to have an amazing second set. Her strength and determination were contagious and the team fought together to earn the Gold Medal and in that, secured a bid to Nationals 2023 in Chicago this coming June.
The young ladies plan to train harder and create even more opportunities this season and move forward. They very humbly ask for your support in making this journey as there are many sacrifices already being made by many parents and families, given the commitment required to play on this fabulous team.
Any and all support is much appreciated,
Let's go Palkons!
