Hi, I’m Zack Jones and this is the Art Church. This beautiful Victorian Gothic church was built by hand in 1873. It served as the town’s Presbyterian church until 1969 and I bought it in 2012 from the Malvern Historical Society, making me the third owner of this Malvern landmark. Today, the Art Church is a center for the arts in Malvern. The sanctuary serves as a studio, gallery, and music and wedding venue, and downstairs is an AirBnB. This May marks the 150th year for this beautiful church and my goal is to raise $30,000 to make critical exterior repairs and give her another 150 years. My goal is to preserve all the exterior woodwork which needs to be mended, scraped, sanded, planed, sealed, and painted. With these funds, we’ll also patch the foundation and replace the crumbling stairs at the front entrance and update them to be handicap accessible. Your donations will make these critical repairs possible. Every dollar raised will go towards materials and equipment for these renovations.
