Hello, im Jas, a Student midwife at Cardiff Univerity!

As a student midwife, I believe that every woman, regardless of where she lives, deserves access to safe, respectful, and skilled care during pregnancy and childbirth. This belief is at the heart of my decision to volunteer in Tanzania, where many women still face challenges accessing basic maternal healthcare.

By volunteering, I hope to support local healthcare teams, share my skills, and learn from the incredible strength and resilience of Tanzanian mothers and midwives. This experience is not just about giving, but about listening, learning, and working together to improve outcomes for mothers and babies in communities within Tanzania.

To raise this money, my mum and I are completing 150 miles of exercise throughout the month of June.
