I am a native New Yorker who has proudly called California home for the past 25 years. Over 17 years of dedicated service as a USPS Clerk, I have not only built a reputation as a committed member of the Clerk Craft but also emerged as a steadfast champion for postal workers’ rights. My unwavering values of integrity, fairness, and transparency have propelled me into influential roles—from serving as a union steward and chief city steward to representing RI399 and acting as vice president of Bakersfield California Area Local 472 of the American Postal Workers Union.

Throughout my career, I have drawn on my expertise and hands-on experience to vigorously defend worker rights and ensure accountability at every level. Whether filing grievances over 204(b) violations, overtime discrepancies, safety concerns, unwarranted disciplinary measures, or non-compliance issues—including resolving challenges stemming from DBCS staffing—my initiatives have resulted in thousands of dollars in payouts and the preservation of countless jobs. These tangible wins stand as a testament to the impact of determined, principled union leadership.

I am equally passionate about empowering my colleagues. Beyond front-line work, I have devoted myself to training fellow union stewards and guiding local teams in the art of building compelling grievance cases. By pioneering a centralized Google Western Region Share drive—a comprehensive repository packed with templates, documentation, and years of accumulated documentation—I have ensured that critical knowledge is shared widely. My close rapport with national officers further highlights my role as both an advocate and technical expert, driving outcomes that include up to million-dollars in settlements and up to three years of back pay for removals.

Looking ahead, my mission remains clear: to serve as a working leader for the Clerk Craft. I strive to engage directly with the workforce, mentor emerging leaders, and continually share the breadth of my experience. My enduring goal is to bolster fairness, empower postal workers, and ignite positive change throughout the Western Region and beyond.
