About Me:
I am a mountaineer and guide from the Blue Mountains of Australia with over 23 years of climbing experience. Mountaineering and the mountains, the awe, the beauty, the challenge, motivate and inspire me.
My goal:
- to climb all 14 of the world’s 8000m mountains
- without the use of additional oxygen,
- to the true summits
- in the world’s fastest time.
Starting March 2023, finishing June 2025.
My aim: to inspire people of all ages and walks of life that they are capable of more. It is never too late to dream big and take steps towards our highest version of ourselves. We don’t know what our true potential is until we break out of our comfort zone.
The oxygen factor: Climbing without the use of additional oxygen in the death zone is a dangerous feat. I minimise this risk by climbing with the support of a highly experienced Sherpa climber.
