Dear friends and family,

I'm Matthew Montanio, and I'm training for a full Ironman this October. This is no easy task for me; I will be dedicating hours each day to prepare to not only complete the event but do so competitively.

I've chosen to dedicate this race towards raising funds towards ALS research. ALS is a disease that currently has no cure, and it strips people of autonomy over their body. I believe that families deserve more support, research, and hope towards one day finding a cure.

I'll be sharing training updates throughout the next couple months, and the support towards this cause will push me to be faster towards the finish line.
