14 Rescue Bunnies

Howdy!!! My name is Ciara and yesterday I got home from driving a 14 hour round trip to rescue 14 bunnies from horrible painful living conditions, being bred in peoples back yards for meat in rural NSW.

4 of the buns have now found safety at the Rabbit Runaway Orphanage where they are awaiting their vet checkups and forever homes. The other 10, who are brothers and sisters, have found their way back to my home before they go out into the foster carer network before finding their forever homes - organised by Kelly's Rabbit Warren Rescue. I am so extremely grateful to these organisations for all the work they do. Rabbits are some of the most misunderstood, dumped and abused animals and there are always far too many bunnies needing safe homes.

Both organisations are over run at the moment, and in additions to foster carers and adopters they need funds to keep doing the incredible work they are doing! All these bunnies will need vet checkups, desexing and vaccinating (at the bare minimum!).

I am hoping to raise at least $1400 for the 14 buns - which is still only $100 per bun. Funs will be split equally between the Runaway and Kelly's. Thankyou so much for your help!
