Hi all,

 

To anyone who knows me, it’s common knowledge that asking for help is really difficult for me to do. I prefer to be the helper rather than the helpee. But it’s come to a point where I need to bite back my pride and ask for help.

 

I lost my job last June due to covid and haven’t been able to land something new yet. Until recently I had hopes that i would finally be able to get back to being an office manager. Things were looking up with vaccines roll out so strong here in SF. I had hopes that offices would start opening and my skills would soon be needed again.

 

However here we are with Delta and other variants rearing it’s ugly head and making it look like it’ll be awhile longer before offices start to reopen. Big companies like the FB’s and Google’s have already pushed their office openings back.

 

I have applied to open a new unemployment claim but as of now, I haven’t received any payments or any notification on the status of my claim. My last payment from them what end of May.

 

So here I am now, with my pride clenched in my fists, humbly reaching out for help. My monthly expenses come to about $1900. Rent is $1600, internet is $100, cell is $100, utilities are $100. I’m hoping to be able to raise enough to give me a 3 month buffer. If my unemployment comes through I am happy to repay you or donate to a charity of your choice.

 

I’m happy to trade my time cleaning/cooking/animal sitting/etc. I’m open to a lot.
