As well as running all of these races I will be hosting a quiz night and a race night as this is something we loved to do together.

The British Heart Foundation isn't just funding research; it's helping create more birthdays, more family moments and more second chances for people affected by heart disease. That's why every mile I run and every pound raised means so much—together, we're helping fund lifesaving breakthroughs and giving hope to families across the UK.

The reason I'm doing this.
On 26th April 2023, my Grandad sadly passed away after a sudden cardiac arrest. He wasn’t just my Grandad—he was a father figure and one of my closest friends. From football matches to quiz nights and travelling the UK together to watch the horse racing, he was a constant source of support, advice, and memories I’ll always treasure.
I’m running this challenge in his memory, and to raise funds for heart charity. If this helps even one family have more time with a loved one, then every mile is worth it.
I’m also doing this for my daughter, Ariella, who never got the chance to meet him. I want her to grow up knowing the kind of man he was, and to show her that resilience, effort, and belief can carry you through anything.

A little about me.
I’m not a natural runner. I only started in my mid-twenties after injury ended my time playing sport, and running became a way to cope when my Grandad was diagnosed with cancer. My first charity run was for Macmillan after he received treatment—and he went on to make a full recovery.
Since then I’ve gone from 10Ks to half marathons, then on to Paris Marathon (5:01) and The Wall Ultramarathon (19 hours), both completed through determination more than perfect preparation.
That mindset—never giving up—came from him.
A huge thank you to my fiancée Rachel, who supports me through every race (even when she questions my lack of training more than the running itself!).
Running the London Marathon is going to be especially meaningful, as it’s the race I once promised my Grandad would be my first.
