14 Basecamps, Raising money for Education
Our Project
We are embarking on the journey of a lifetime to the bottom of the highest mountains in the world.
Inspired by the mountains and those that climb them our family of four are on a mission to conquer the 14 basecamps of each 8000m mountain. With this comes multiple world-record attempts – the youngest person, the first child under 18 and the first family to complete this endeavour as well as potential many others.

The challenge, taking over five+ years to complete, will see us trek an estimated 1100 km with our children. We started this journey in July 2024 completing the 5 base camps in Pakistan.
Our chosen cause
One of the best aspects of travelling is meeting the people from the places you visit. Often in the mountains, we have the joy of encountering children from remote locations. These children are usually happy, smiling, and full of life, which is truly infectious.
Our hope is to increase opportunities for these children through education.
We have decided to support the Nimsdai Foundation whose aims and goals resonate with our own as they look to improve the lives of the people in the Himalayas through empowering the next generation and committing to restore, respect & protect the environment.
As educators ourselves, we are committed to working with the foundation to raise awareness and support efforts that bring meaningful, sustainable, and long-term improvements to these children’s lives.

Our target is to raise £12,000 for the Nimsdai foundation with the aim of put this towards school scholarships. The scholarships’ objective are to reduce poverty and for the advancement of education for the public benefit in Nepal, Northern Pakistan and other developing countries.
