13 Years of Family Court Madness
My name is Lynkeisha "Keisha" Dixon. I am a decorated disabled combat Veteran and mother of two. For 13 consecutive years, I have been fighting in family court to remain in my children's lives.
For the last 6 years, their childhoods have been interrupted by the court NOT scheduling routine visits. As a result, the children, I love dearly, nurtured, provided for, protected, showed structure, and been an example are being turned against me, allowing our bonds to be fractured.
On October 22, 2009, I turned to the court for help with getting a custody schedule in place after exiting the military to protect my children and myself, only to have restraining orders, children's services called on several occasions, and repeated incidents of interference continued. Then in February 2013, I was falsely imprisoned, and simultaneously, custody was being switched. To regain my portion of custody with the children, I have jumped hurdles the court ordered, tackled every obstacle the court has requested and was granted little to no contact with both children. Our last court-ordered visit was in July of 2016. In 2020, my daughter turned 18 and aged out.
THE NEXT STEP:
Our next court hearing is scheduled for February 22, 2023, before Judge Reginald Neal. My family and I are scarred by these horrific events in family court, stemming from my 14- month deployment to Iraq in 2004. Please help our family overcome this heart-wrenching trauma by sharing this story, making a donation and keeping us in your prayers.
Thank you in advance for your prayers, for sharing this information and for your generous donations.
