16 Years of Family Court Madness
Donation protected
I am Lynkeisha "Keisha" Dixon, a mother, decorated disabled combat veteran, author, advocate, activist, and entrepreneur. For 16 years, I have been committed to a legal battle in family court to maintain a relationship with my two children.
Back on October 22, 2009, I sought court intervention to establish a custody arrangement after leaving the military to ensure the safety of my children and myself. Unfortunately, the retaliation led to false reports (restraining orders, multiple calls to children's services, ongoing interference, and imprisonment).
In February 2013, I was falsely imprisoned, and my children were taken away. Despite meeting all court requirements and facing numerous challenges, I was granted minimal contact with my children. That eventually led to no visitation in July 2016.
THE NEXT STEP:
Our recent court hearing was scheduled for April 9, 2024. That court hearing was continued to October 28 & 29. The children are now 18 and 22 years old, and our family continues to struggle with the distress caused by these family court ordeals, originating from my deployment to Iraq in 2004.
Your prayers, support, and sharing of our story are greatly appreciated in helping us navigate this challenging journey.
Thank you for your prayers, for sharing our story, and for standing by us during this difficult time.
