I will continue to post updates I apologize for my lack of communication. Amari has since had 3 admissions following complications after his IVD placement. Thankfully after many trial and errors of meds and different specialists we feel he is on the best track he has been on in awhile. Thank you all. Currently we need funding for his cardiac rehab for pediatric patients. His journey is not over but he is !! Pray for my boy!

Amari, our son has since developed heart failure and long QT syndrome. He will need an ICD to improve his heart function. We need help please. Read his journey below.
4/11/23*** surgery is scheduled. He will need aftercare, home DME monitors by his bedside to record nightly his readings. Please help me raise they money to support medical bills, equipment, anything he may need now and in the future surrounding his new diagnosis
Amari is 13 months old now. During pregnancy “spots were seen on his heart” those spots were told to us it could be benign finding or indicate heart issues and not to worry.
- He was born 3/2/23. 8 lbs 2 oz and immediately had a EKG; within normal limits but upon physical exam a heart murmur was heard. So of you may not understand but heart murmurs can be benign but also can indicate ASD aka “hole in heart”. See original post below for more information regarding his first procedure which was successful. below was his first surgery and when we only knew he had ASD (hole is his heart)
First cardiac concern and journey/story.
Successful ASD closure done and funds were raised however, I’m positing what got us to where we are now.
- (2/2024) As many of you know. Our 11 month old Amari has ASD (atrial septal defect and will now need closure) we have insurance however with this comes preprocedural deductibles. We have paid 876 however, at the moment of this text we are still in need of 767.63 of which is due prior to admission. It’s an unfortunate insurance requirement. We are all of hard times however I decided to not to create a go fund me as we need this before his surgery date which is the end of February
