Hello Everyone!

My name is Vicky Baker and I am the Group Chair for 12th Hayes Scouts Group, Greater London Middlesex West.

We have 18 fantastic Scouts who will be embarking on a fantastic, once in a lifetime opportunity to travel to Switzerland in August 2025 and attend a camp at Kandersteg - the world centre for Scouts!

This will be the groups first international trip in over 10 years and is looking to be an unforgettable international adventure! Our last scheduled trip was cancelled due to Covid with many parents and children losing out on deposits. Some of these children are now young leaders and are SO fortunate to finally be able to experience the journey.

For many of our young Scouts this will be their first trip away without parents and there will of course be nerves. However, on the other side of the water adventure awaits! There will be a plethora of activity opportunities, opening and closing ceremonies, evenings to remember and friends made for a lifetime.

NOW WE REALLY NEED YOUR HELP! To ensure our trip can go ahead, 12th Hayes will be fundraising their perfect little scarves off over the next year to contribute to the fund and keep costs as low as possible for everyone involved.

Our fantastic leaders that will be accompanying the children on this trip are volunteers and role models but they need your support! We will also need new equipment for the camp and of course the activities.

Please sponsor our fund today and spread the word! The children, young leaders, adult leaders and volunteers at 12th Hayes have worked so hard to make this happen again so lets make it the best trip ever!
