12hr Charity Ride 4 Bowel Cancer Aus Never2Young

Hey Everyone,

Upon hearing the inspiring story of one of my colleagues, Shannon and his wife, Kate and the struggles the duo endured whilst overcoming the toughest fight of their lives as Kate was diagnosed with Stage 3 Bowel Cancer at the young age of 35 in September of 2020 (you can read her story here: https://www.bowelcanceraustralia.org/never2young/kate-35 ) I naturally had to do something to help spread the word that you are Never2Young to have Bowel Cancer and to promote prevention in hopes it helps someone/anyone - hearing Kate's passion on the cause sure gets you fired up to help the cause. Devastatingly, during her journey one year into her chemo treatment, Kate's life long best friend, also in her thirties, was also diagnosed with Bowel Cancer and devastatingly did not survive her battle. With health and wellness being such a huge part of my life, hearing stories like this shock me to my core and all I want to do is speak up about it so that we can all look out for each other.

So with that in mind, on Saturday Feb 11, 2023, alongside global brand LSKD, hosted at their Headquarters on the Gold Coast, I will be riding for 12 hours straight on a stationary Concept bike to raise funds and awareness for Bowel Cancer Australia with 100% monies raised going directly to the organisation through GoFundMe.

On the day there will be two bikes set up side by side, with other various athletes, media personalities, friends and colleagues riding alongside where and when they can. I'll be on one of the bikes for the full length starting at 5am and finishing at 5pm and encourage anyone that is able, to come on down, support the cause, ride if you want (!), help add to the atmosphere, check out the epic location that is LSKD HQ and help reach our goal of $5000 but most importantly create awareness. For those who can't make it in person, any support from afar on this would be hugely appreciated. Simply sharing this link, talking about the cause and any donations big or small all helps!

Thanks in advance for your support!
