Hi my name is Brian, Events and Engagements for Blyth Valley Samba.

I've been a member for 3 years.

12-Hour Halloween Drumathon – In Memory of Allie and raise funds to help Blyth Valley Samba grow further into the Blyth Community.

On Sunday 25th October 2026, Blyth Valley Samba will take on a very special 12-hour samba drumming challenge to raise money for our community band and Headway Arts in memory of Allie Walton-Robson, who sadly passed away in August 2026.

Allie was the co-founder and Creative Director of Headway Arts in Blyth and was a passionate champion of creativity, inclusion and the power of the arts to bring people together.

Headway Arts has been a special part of our samba journey, and we want to honour Allie's memory by giving something back to the organisation she helped build and loved so much.

Funds raised will also help Blyth Valley Samba purchase new drums and equipment, allowing us to continue bringing free samba drumming, music and community spirit to people across Blyth and beyond.

Two causes. One community. Twelve hours of samba.

Every donation, however small, will make a difference. If you can't donate, please consider sharing our fundraiser.

Help us keep the drums beating, keep the community together, and keep Allie's creative spirit alive.
