In 2020, my life changed forever after a motorcycle wreck. Before the accident, I had a loving family, a stable home, and everything I could have wanted. But on August 15th, I broke my right fibula and suffered a head injury that left me with memory loss, severe depression, trauma, and PTSD. The aftermath was overwhelming, and I began drinking heavily, which only made things worse. I lost my family, most of my friends, and the life I once knew.

Now, I'm living in a sober living environment and working hard every day to rebuild myself and regain what I lost. My goal is to get back to who I was, reconnect with my family and friends, and create a stable life again. One of the biggest challenges I face is not having reliable transportation. Without a car, it's difficult to get to sobriety meetings, visit my kids who live two hours away, and find steady work. These are all crucial steps in my recovery and in rebuilding my relationships.
