I’m Kirsty, founder of The Love Slut, a clothing brand with a mission, to walk 12,000km around the Great British coastline to raise funds for The Love Slut and the 12,000 yoing adults that leave care every year in the UK.

Every hoodie I plan sell will fund a bundle of essentials for a young person leaving foster care with nothing. You buy one, we give one and more ♡

Why? Because I’ve been there. At 18, I left care and stepped out into the world with no safety net, no parents to call and no home to fall back on.

The Love Slut is my way of changing that story for others, turning clothes into care and fashion into something that actually heals.

What we’re raising for.

The first batch of Love Slut hoodies, trackies & tees. They’ll be ethically made, designed with hidden affirmations, sent out with a bracelet, vouchers, memberships and whatever they may need with the help of local businesses & message of love.

Every hoodie sold doesn’t just clothe the buyer, it funds a care bundle for a young person leaving the foster system.

Each bundle will include the name of the person who funded it, whether that’s from buying a hoodie or donating here. So the young person knows exactly who made them feel seen and supported.

In the UK, 12,000 young people leave foster care every year. Most have no family safety net. Many face homelessness, poverty, and loneliness within weeks.

A hoodie won’t fix everything but it’s a start, a symbol that someone cares, plus bundles that bring real comfort and dignity.

Future vision for The Love Slut.

This is just the beginning. The Love Slut will grow into a full clothing line where every purchase funds a bundle, which in turn will fund a local care leaver drop-in center where young people can access support, scholarships, housing, help and job readiness programs and care-leaver led businesses. Somewhere to go when you'd normally turn to family.

Eventually, I would like to open The Love Slut Foundation, making sure no young person leaving care ever feels alone again.

We already have just over £1300 in the pot, thanks to the generosity of my wonderful community. Now, with your help, we can turn that seed money into the very first drop of hoodies and spark the cycle of love that keeps giving.
