12 Year Old Struck By A Car While Riding Bike

UPDATE: Today, October 17th, 2023 we said our final goodbyes to our precious and most perfect Mathew. He will FOREVER be remembered and missed. We will do everything we can to honor his beautiful short life and memories we shared with him on this earth. On behalf of his mother, family and myself, we would like to send our most heartfelt THANK YOU to all those who have prayed and donated. THANK YOU for sending your loving energy, donations, your messages and prayers to Mathew. He was so deeply loved and the outpouring of support from all walks of life is a beautiful comfort in such a dark time.

UPDATE: The hospital has allowed our family some more time with Mathew and they have pushed the test to Monday, October 16th!!! LET’S GO MATHEW!!!

World! I am reaching out on behalf of my God son, Mathew Barajas, 12 years old. On Tuesday, October 10th 2023 around 4:50pm he was riding his bike back home to attend football practice and a 19 year old female hit him with her car. Details are unknown of this driver as the investigation is currently being conducted. He is currently in Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Children’s Hospital of Orange County. Yesterday, Friday, October 13th at 12:00pm the hospital performed a brain death test and he did not pass. Today, Saturday, October 14th at 1:00pm they will perform another brain death test on him and if he fails again, they will have to call time of death.

I’m lost. I don’t know what to do. This isn’t real! This can’t be happening. He is 12 YEARS OLD! His mother is absolutely traumatized and devastated. Our entire family is asking for the world to please PRAY! Let’s pray for a miracle!!! Miracles happen everyday; let’s pray for Mathew Barajas to receive a miracle!!! We’re helpless and we don’t know where to turn. Mathew is a perfect kid!!!! Well behaved and has such a generous heart! He has so much to live for still. DEAR GOD DO NOT TAKE OUR MATHEW FROM US. Please keep him and the family in your prayers and thoughts. Let’s send him loving energy!
