Hello beautiful souls,
I’m Rosina Buck - singer, songwriter, poet, performer, voice from the deep well of the messy human experience. And I’ve made an album. Not just any album. This one.
A 12-track original record recorded and produced by my dear friend Mike Trim (Mike is the incredibly lovely fella in one of the media photos) over in sunny Wivenhoe, Essex. Mike and I met in a rainstorm, surrounded by hay bales and something immediately clicked. Since then, he’s loved me and my music so deeply that he’s recorded this entire album as a pure passion project, straight from his heart. He hasn’t accepted a single penny from me. His belief in these songs has been unwavering. Now it’s my job to honour them, to honour him, and to give this record the love and attention it deserves. I want to get it out into the world, seen and heard by as many people as possible - and that does take money. The hope is that it will start bringing in some income through royalties and future opportunities. Mike will also be stepping into the role of musical director for the live show, helping bring the songs to life on stage with the same heart and magic he brought to the recordings
The album features a kaleidoscope of sounds - from tearjerkers to toe-tappers, each track its own little world.
I have had the honour of working with some incredible musicians Rohanna Trim (BV's) Jonathan Potts (violin) and Chris Allard (electric guitar) Jasper Trim (piano) and Mike Trim (drums/bass), with Mike adding many many layers of further instrumentation. PLUS one track featuring my dear friend Bronte Shande.
This isn’t just a collection of songs – it’s a resurrection. A riot. A love letter. A universe of it's own. A bloody miracle!
These past two years have been some of the most intense and challenging I’ve known. I’ve been stretched beyond what I thought humanly possible…let’s just say I've been cracked open. But through it all, this album kept me tethered to something bigger. It became the love and the blessing that shaped me.
And it’s not just sad or raw – it’s funny, bold, heartfelt, cheeky, and totally unlike anything you’ve ever heard. Think: a little bit folk, a little bit pop, a little bit witchy glitter funk. It’s heartbreak turned into beauty. Pain turned into prayer. A banger and a balm.
Now, I’m asking for your help to get this album into the world.
Why I need you:
This is a 100% independent release (let's get really honest I'm a broke mutha fucka). No label, no machine – just me, my heart, my determined little spirit, and the wild force of community. I have such big dreams and visions for this album, I can't wait to share it with you, and I can't do it alone!

This record isn’t just about my personal journey it's a collective prayer - it’s about love, healing, recovery, and the possibility of transformation even when you thought you had noting left. The response so far has shown me that these songs are already creating ripples - people have written to say they felt seen, soothed, reminded of something tender and true in themselves. That’s what matters. As humans, we’ve always needed art - not just to express, but to receive. Beauty is not a luxury; it’s a lifeline. It reminds us of who we are beyond the noise, it softens the edges, it helps us feel.
This record is an offering to that collective need - a thread in the wider tapestry. I believe that we need each other’s stories. We need spaces where feeling is safe. And we need music, poetry, and art that opens us - to hope, to grief, to wonder, and to the possibility of something more whole.
And for me personally we’re not just making and honouring something beautiful here - we’re launching me back into the music world, proper. Gigs, radio, new fans, old fans, dancing, weeping, bathing in Vanilla Redbush like never before! WHATEVER - it’s time. Time to step up, step out, and make this work work.
The release of this album will help me become self-sustaining again as an artist. Not hustling round the edges - but actually living it. Loud, proud, and paid (who would have thought!)
It’s not some whispery side project - it’s the main stage. It’s survived breakdowns, breakthroughs, hormones, heartbreak and heroic levels of dark chocolate consumption. It’s stitched together with sweat, salt, and the occasional scream into a pillow.
If you’ve ever felt like too much, too tender, too tired, or just too bloody magical for this world - then I believe that this album is for you.
