I’m participating in the 12 Days of 5K this December in honor of my mom.

On June 16, 2020, she was diagnosed with Stage IIIb non-small cell lung cancer. On December 21, 2020 she finally heard the words we were hoping for: “all clear.” This year, she’s celebrating 5 years cancer-free!!

Running these 5Ks is my way of honoring her journey, celebrating her resilience, and supporting everyone whose life has been touched by cancer.
