The Connecticut Army National Guard is establishing a Soldier's Memorial at Camp Niantic to recognize the unique sacrifice and services of all past, present, and future members of the CTARNG. The memorial will be a bronze battle cross (M16 rifle and boots at a 45 degree angle) atop a 2' granite slab; landscaping and a back wall.
Memorial benches will be places around the Soldier's memorial and the 118th has the opportunity to dedicate a bench along the sidewalk leading to the memorial.
