This loving, sober LGBTQ family of six (two adults, a teenager, two cats, and a dog) is in dire straits. They have just 6 days to leave their home and urgently need help relocating from Wyoming—one of the least safe states for LGBTQ people—to a place where healthcare, recovery, and support services are finally within reach.
Right now, they’re in crisis:
• On August 31st, they will lose their home.
• One parent, who is non-binary, has been without essential hormone treatment since May, leading to serious health consequences.
• The mom of their teenager urgently needs access to critical support services that don’t exist where they live now.
• The family faces daily hostility and discrimination simply for being who they are.
But there is hope:
✨ A job is already waiting for them in their new home.
✨ They’ve built their life on sobriety, resilience, and love — and they’re committed to staying strong.
✨ With our help, they can move to a safer state where healthcare, LGBTQ resources, and recovery support are available.
✨ They need just $2,500 to cover a rental car, gas, and lodging for their 12-hour journey to safety.
Here’s what your donation provides right now:
• $25 → fills their gas tank for 100 miles
• $60 → is a full tank of gas
• $150 → helps secure lodging for all six heartbeats
This family has done the work to stay sober and hold themselves together through impossible odds. Now they need a community — our community — to help them over this last hurdle.
➡️ Please don’t wait — every hour counts. Donate today and share this campaign. Together, we can keep them from eviction and carry them safely to their new beginning.
Once they arrive, they will be camping temporarily until they find a place to live. While we’re not raising funds specifically for this, any extra donations will help make their first days in the new state safer and more comfortable — things like a place to sleep, meals, or basic necessities. Your generosity can ease the stress of this transition and give them a little stability during a scary time.
