This year, Blue Skies Riding Academy celebrates their 10-year anniversary! To celebrate this milestone, we are kicking off BIG GOALS for fundraising!
Serving as a non-profit association dedicated to rescuing neglected, abused and abandoned horses (and the occasional pig!), BSRA has committed to providing these animals with care throughout their lifetime. Some horses are rehabilitated and become part of the lesson program while others live out their days with care, love and affection. Rideable horses are trained for mounted equestrian programs, while non-rideable horses are used for equine care lessons and demonstrations.
Blue Skies is uniquely positioned as one of the only equine facilities in the metro Atlanta area to offer horsemanship opportunities to community based organizations and volunteer programs for children to learn horsemanship skills. BSRA provides the children who participate in the programs experiences which will empower and inspire them both now and in the future.
With over 35 horses on property, medical bills accumulate, the hay prices are high and the facilities need maintenance. Your donation to this fundraiser will pay the mounting medical bills for rehabilitation and maintaining the rescued horses, allowing the ability to rescue additional horses, improving the hay/feed storage barn, and buying hay for the winter.
ALL donations are 100% tax-deductible and ALL donations will help make an impact. Every donor will receive a 501(c)(3) tax-donation letter and a photo of the horse their donation helped.
