Calumet’s very own 10U Insight Eyecare are heading to the State Championship games in Alpena!

Our team fought a long, hard battle in Manistique over last weekend and came out winning all 5 games, marking Insight Eyecare District Champions!

We are extremely excited to be representing the UP downstate as we go into the state championship tournament.

Our team has 11 hardworking kids that make the saying “small but mighty” take full force! It’s been many years since a 10U Calumet team won Districts!

Currently, we hold an outstanding record of 27-5-1, which is remarkable for these 9 and 10-year-olds!

We are asking for your help to offset costs for our players and families as we head to Alpena for 4 days.

Any money over our goal we plan to give to the Calumet Hockey Association to help with purchasing new hockey jerseys. We currently only have home jerseys, which raises an issue when we travel because we don’t have both dark and light jerseys. So this addition will be lots of help to our team.
