Help me publish book, surviving mental illness

Deeply ingrained in my personal philosophy at 19 years old, I thought I was worse off on the inside than anyone else. I had a crooked soul in a healthy and able body. This mindset culminated in a suicide attempt; I jumped head first off a 3-story building...

Today I am permanently confined to a wheelchair and a complete paraplegic, and despite my mental health challenge (Bipolar Disorder), I am living a better than ever.

Since the accident
I developed a strong spiritual life, won several USTA sanctioned wheelchair tennis tournaments and married the perfect women to help me fulfill my purpose:

I've also taught peer education classes and facilitated weekly support groups for people with many types of mental illness. I am a trained peer support specialist and continue to use my "lived experience" to help others who struggle...

I KNOW How to help others suffering from mental illness because I’ve been to the depths of darkness of mental health.

NOW I am going to write a book!

I NEED your financial support for the following:

     - writing coach (already chosen)
    - editor
    - publicist
    - cover design (already have idea)
    - page layout expert
   - website/domain name
   - promotion/marketing specialist
   - whatever else it’s going to take to get this out.

Below is a brief synopsis of my book project entitled, "Real Recovery- How I survived Severe Mental Illness."

Each year over 44,000 people die by suicide and 90% of all suicides had a type mental illness (Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia and Depression mostly). RECOVERY for people with a mental health diagnosis is NOT WORKING!

I describe in my book the problem as being “stuck in denial,” and the reason many are not receiving proper treatment for mental illness. A mind “set” or “stuck” on the internal shame or pressure associated with mental illness is the beginning focal point of this work.

Following I will exhibit the devastation I experienced when "Stuck in Denial."

Next I will cover the transformation that happened to me.

I found a WAY OUT, lastly, through acceptance and developing a wellness perspective.

PLEASE help me share my real recovery, and contribute to my book.

Sincerely,

Devin
